Epic Games Store video specs and requirements
Epic's PC game store. Product pages carry a trailer and a gallery, much like Steam.
What it is
The Epic Games Store sells PC games and some apps. Each product page has a media gallery with trailers and screenshots, managed in the Epic Developer Portal.
What it expects from a video
- Upload through the Developer Portal. As with Steam, the store re-encodes your file, so a clean high-bitrate source gives the best result.
- Store media has to represent the product accurately.

Tips for product demos
- If you already export for Steam, the same 1080p trailer works here. Tick both presets and you get two files named for each store.
Official specs
Platforms change their rules from time to time. If a limit matters, check the official page before you upload.
Screen recordings, piece of cake.
Record the demo once. Let Recordcake handle the formats.
