License
Recordcake is free to download from the Mac App Store. Recordcake Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features; it is not a subscription and never renews. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Your recordings
Everything you record or export with Recordcake is yours. You are responsible for what you record and where you publish it, including respecting other people's privacy and the rights of third parties whose content appears on your screen.
Platform specifications
The export presets reflect each platform's published requirements at the time they were last checked. Platforms change their rules without notice, so a preset can fall out of date; we do not guarantee that any platform will accept a given file.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
