Instagram video specs and requirements
Meta's photo and video app. Reels are full-screen vertical videos; feed videos are 4:5.
What it is
Instagram has two main places for video: Reels, which are full-screen vertical clips, and regular feed posts, where a 4:5 portrait video takes up the most room on screen.
What it expects from a video
- Reels are 9:16 and can be up to 3 minutes long.
- Feed videos are cropped to between square and 4:5. The feed preset uses 4:5 and 60 seconds.
